In order to get white men to read about Asian people, you have to show that they can be violent too. Bruce Lee is generally the only Asian respected by white christians, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that white people always present him as some kind of perfect weapon, capable of hurting anyone….
Jackie Chan, an equally skilled action star and actor, isn’t praised nearly as much by whites, because he does love roles, funny roles and generally has too nice a personality for white men - who want a killer.
To get the respect of the white man, you have to have a proven track record of violence.
