At any time I am usually actively seeding more than 20 torrents. Upload rates are often very low until other complete seeds are established.

No, I’m showing only 1 seed and zero download speed. Why upload “more than 20 torrents” at the same time at dial up speed.

I am seed around 400 torrents at the moment. At any one time around 20 are usually active. With My 600 Kp/s of bandwidth 3-5 of them usually upload between 30-100 Kps and the remaining 15 or so upload at dial up speed (1-20 Kps).
This makes sense to me because even though a peer may be getting “dial up speed” it informs him/her that the torrent is available.

If you come across a torrent in the first 12 hours of its creation you are likely to get a slow download. I don’t know any way around that.
The constructive criticism though is appreciated.
