Thanks so much, Orwell nonfiction can be hard to find on audio.

Orwell’s nonfiction is absolutely necessary reading for our time. As we hurtle back to the victorian levels of inequality and greed, Orwell gives a good picture of what it leads to in The Road to Wigan Pier. If you can find it, listen to Orwell’s essays. He hated capitalism as much as he hated totalitarian Stalisnism and unequivocally called for “Social democracy”, a system where rights and freedoms are protected and extremes of inequality are eradicated through government intervention, taxation and regulation.
