This is one of the great autobiographies and a fine companion to those of that other great 18th century scoundrel, Casanova, that were recently uploaded.

That is one of the most funny & entertaining autobio I have read. Benvenuto’s self image is so grand & important that we learn to love him as much as he loved himself.
