Such garbage. Every Amish person has the right to leave their community and have a life of their own on the outside.

Once young Amish girl/boy turns 18 they are given a year to experience life in the outside world and decide if the want in or out of the community. There is NO living in both worlds. If one decides to live with “English” :), they are not allowed back into community, even for a visit. Teens experiment with drugs, alcohol, sex, modern clothes, vehicles, etc. After a year they have to make the biggest decision of their life.
