An extremely intelligent person; frequency hopping was Lamarr’s idea. It prevented signals from being intercepted by the fiendish Hun. It kept the enemy from interfering with a ship’s torpedoes. She co-patented this technology which was subsequently adapted for modern cellphones, Wi-Fi and GPS.
